Editorial Policy

This page explains how MODZILO chooses, writes and updates what you read here.

What we list

• MODZILO apps: our own apps.
• Mods: unofficial, modified versions of popular apps. They are not made, approved or supported by the original developers. Using them can break the original service's terms, and some services limit or ban accounts that use unofficial apps. Back up your data first.
• Official apps: well-known store apps, listed for reference with a link to the official store.

Downloads

MODZILO does not host installation files. Every download button leads to an external host. We check download links on a schedule, switch to another working link when the main one keeps failing, and our team is alerted to fix it. We never promise that a file is safe, clean or virus-free. Install only what you trust and keep Google Play Protect on.

Versions and facts

Version numbers, file sizes, release dates and Android requirements come from each version we publish. They are not estimates. When a new version is added, the app page, its download page and our comparison tables update by themselves.

Reviews and ratings

Ratings and reviews come only from signed-in visitors. We never write, buy or invent reviews, ratings or download counts. We moderate reviews for spam and abuse, not for opinion.

Best-of pages and guides

The order on our "Best …" pages is our editors' opinion, based on features, how often an app is updated and what readers ask for. It is never paid for. Guides are written to answer real questions people search for.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help draft translations, summaries and first versions of some guides. A person reviews and edits every guide before it is published. AI is never used to create reviews, ratings or safety claims.

Advertising

Ads keep MODZILO free. They are clearly separated from download buttons, and advertisers have no influence on what we write or how we rank apps.

Corrections and removal

If something is wrong, or you own the rights to an app and want it removed, use Report a problem on the page or the Contact page. We fix confirmed errors quickly and answer valid rights-holder requests (see DMCA & copyright).
